A while back we had a visit from the US by a film crew from Major League Baseball. They were creating a documentary about the antecedant games of baseball. They spent a day with us, filming in and around Canterbury, and then filming two matches that were being played in the evening at the Red Lion in Dunkirk. They filmed other games as well (Stoolball, Cricket, etc) and they also discovered something the we in England had assumed all along!

We were contacted in 2007 by the producer of the documentary to tell us that they had got a rough cut put together, and had created a page on the MLB website to promote it. It is eventually going to be released as a DVD, although there is no date for this yet.
